Deadly Landslides Hits Columbia

14 people have been reported dead as a landslide was triggered by heavy rainfall in Central Columbia. 

An additional 35 people have been hospitalized for their injuries due to their homes being engulfed in the Risaralada area on Tuesday. 

Other residents living nearby have been moved to safety. 

Landslides are a common occurrence in Columbia, due to heavy amounts of rain and house being built on steep, mountainous regions.
