Squid Game Quickly Makes Its Path to the Most Viewed TV show

Released in late September, Squid Game illustrates a world where debt-ridden players contest in a series of deadly children’s games.

The director quoted “They represent the two sides of me. Like Gi-hun, I was raised by a single mother in a financially troubled environment in Ssangmun-dong,” he explained. “At the same time, like Sang-woo, I went to Seoul National University and my entire neighborhood praised me and had high expectations of me.”

He states that nothing is confirmed but he’s optimistic about going into pre-production for season 2.
