The Miami Heat have achieved a massive upset by standing victorious against the Los Angeles Lakers 115-104 in game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night to cut the Lakers’ series lead to 2-1. Jimmy Butler has achieved a monumental triple-double with a whopping 40 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists.
The Miami Heat started aggressively from the start of game 3, with star player Jimmy Butler dominating both offense and defence. Despite the absence of Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic, Miami’s players have stepped up and kept their lead against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Los Angeles Lakers had an awful start, with Anthony Davis getting in early foul trouble while also committing several turnovers. Despite how the Lakers have played, LeBron James achieved 25 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists on 9-for-16 shooting, but also committed a couple of traveling violations later in the fourth quarter, costing them their comeback against the Miami Heat.
The Heat are looking to evening out the record between the Los Angeles Lakers on Game 4 later this week.
