Two women have been arrested for recording a police officer on duty, and they posted it on social media. The video showed the police officer integrating a man for an alleged assault and arresting him. It is illegal to post a video online without consent under the cybercrime law. The cybercrime law is a crime that involves devices and a network.
The two women broke the law by invading the officers privacy, while he was on duty. According to Article 21 of the law, the women could face jail time of not less than six months or a fine of not less than 150,000 dirhams, or both.
