Summer is coming along and school is gradually coming to an end. Spare time will soon be on our hands. Here are some recipes that will not only give us something to do, but also force us to eat healthily.

Homemade Salsa
4 tomatoes, sliced into cubes, or blended if you would like a more thick salsa.
1/2 cup chopped onions
3 Red Chilies, finely chopped (optional)
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 tablespoon garlic, paste or fresh
Juice of ½ a lime
1 teaspoon salt
In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, onions and chilies. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cilantro, garlic, and lime juice. If you are using fresh garlic, make sure to chop it very finely.
Add the cilantro mixture to the tomatoes and season with the salt.
Refrigerate before serving. Enjoy!
Watermelon Slush
4 cups of watermelon, cut into cubes
Juice of 2 lemons
2 tbsp sugar
Put the watermelon in a ziploc bag and place in the freezer for about two to three hours.
Once they are frozen, put the watermelon, juice and sugar in a blender on low speed until it is smooth.
Put the mixture back in a ziploc bag and place in the freezer for two hours.
Serve in small bowls and enjoy!

Greek Yogurt Feta Dip
1 and a ½ cup Feta Cheese
1 cup of Greek yogurt
1 cup of cream cheese
1/4 cup of olive oil
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp. chopped dill
Salt (to taste)
1/2 cup of chopped cucumber
1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
In a large bowl, combine the feta cheese, greek yogurt, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice and zest. Mix with a hand mixer or a whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Season with the salt and dill. Add in some chili flakes to taste.
Top with the cucumber and tomatoes.
Serve with tortilla or pita chips. Enjoy!
