Man Kills 10 people in Virginia Walmart Shooting

The person who opened fire and then turned the gun on himself is now dead. He was thought to be the store manager. “Police confirm an active shooter event with deaths at the Walmart,” the City of Chesapeake tweeted.

There aren’t many facts, but a police officer said there were no more than ten fatalities and numerous injuries. No reason has surfaced. Reporters were informed by police that the attack took place at 22:12 local time (03:12 GMT).

According to police spokeswoman Leo Kosinski, the shooting is thought to have taken place inside the store, and the suspect acted alone. Walmart expressed its shock at the unfortunate incident and stated that it was “working closely with law enforcement.”
