Charles, who at 73 is the oldest monarch to ascend the throne in British history

At the age of 73, Prince Charles is now finally claiming the throne after her majesty The Queen who recently passed away.
Prince Charles has been preparing for this moment his entire life. On Saturday, 17th of September, Prince Charles will be gathered with a group made up of members of the Privy council, a group of senior MPs, which are senior members of the Parlement, past and present, peers as well as some senior civil servants, Commonwealth high commissioners, and the Lord Mayor of London.
Charles’s position has now changed from being the Prince of Wales to the king of the United Kingdom and the other 14 countries in the Commonwealth. Charles recently acknowledged as king he wouldn’t be able to speak out or interfere in politics because of his new role. Prince Charles’s age caused a lot of doubt. The people of the United Kingdom feel that because of Prince Charles’s age, his reign will be affected.
