Top 3 Restaurants to Try in New York

- Jongoro
I will say that you have never experienced a place like this before. Korean BBQ is a very communal experience that everyone should at least try once in their life. The location is quite big with many cooking stations, some smaller and some bigger meant for big parties and groups. With such a prominent place and with lots of people talking and food cooking in the background you still don’t get overwhelmed but in a way feel comforted. Now the food can be cooked by you or the waiter will come and cook it for you if you feel like focusing on the food, and the food itself is very fresh with deliveries coming in every day of fresh meat. But the best part is all the small side dishes you can eat with everyone that are unlimited and so amazing with the meat that you get. If you are ever in New York this is one of the first places you should go to with friends. With its amazing atmosphere and great food that can be shared this is a top pick.
- Red Rooster
Red Rooster is the place you want to go if you’re looking for a good time. The atmosphere lures you in with its warm and inviting vibe but once you enter it’s a lively and fun place with loud music and a great overall vibe. The food brings you back home with its comforting delicious taste, yet feels so foreign with its unique flavors and unfamiliar name for their chicken called the fried yard bird (slang for friend chicken from old Harlem) which is a very appropriate name for monster-sized chicken slathered with white mace gravy and a hot dab of hot sauce with a side stewed greens it calls for a perfect party in your mouth. Now, this is a sparking spot for a night out with its comfy home feeling exciting atmosphere filled with music and great food you are sure to have a great time.
- Katz Delicatessen
Katz Deli is a place I can only explain with one word “Boomin”. With its huge sandwiches, cult following, and celebrity visits no wonder it has such long lines filled with people waiting to get their famous pastrami sandwiches. The place feels like a normal New York deli with its bright white lights, many photos and quick service but it does come with a touch of different colors and that is its sandwiches. Two pieces of bread with mustard spread on and its skyscraper-high meat is like taking on a dragon of meat not complete without its side of huge pickles which pairs as a perfect combo to the fatty meat of the sandwich. In the end, this is a great place if you want to eat like a New Yorker for lunch and browse some of the celebrities on the wall in a picture who have visited the beloved establishment.
