Shortly following the death of suspect Damien Sanderson, his brother Myles Sanderson was suspected to play a role in the violent stabbing spree. On Wednesday, September 7th, Myles was taken into custody after a high speed chase in a stolen SUV.
Myles had broken into a woman’s rural property and, according to her son, “the suspect took the keys to the woman’s vehicle and her mobile phone”. He was arrested by police on the highway.
Shortly after being taken into custody by Saskatoon police officials, Sanderson went into “medical distress” and was taken to the hospital. According to a unnamed official “ he was pronounced dead due to self inflicted injuries”
