How to Stay Focused for Exams

Exam week is just around the corner, many of us are ready for it, while some are completely lost. Exam week is the toughest week for a student, it’s a stressful time for all students. Some people procrastinate and therefore are not ready for the exam, but there are some ways to get rid of your procrastination.
One of the good ways to not procrastinate is by going out for a walk. After the walk, the student will feel refreshed and it will be easier to commit to learning, unlike if the student is stuck to his phone. Phones and computers are major distractions in our study plan, so if we get rid of them by walking then we will be less likely to approach them.
If this doesn’t work try to get rid of all distractions. If you are a person that usually listens to music while studying, and it helps, blast music so you will have less distraction from noises around your house. If you are not using your computer, turn it off, this will reduce distraction and increase your efficiency.
If these don’t work there are still other ways, like my personal favorite, shower in the morning. A shower in the morning wakes you up and gets you ready for the day ahead. If you are more awake then you will be less likely to start laying on your bed and looking at your phone. Working out has a similar reaction to showering, it wakes you up.
One thing you should definitely not do is wake up and look at your phone. We all have said to ourselves 5 minutes and that’s it, but then we end up watching Tik Tok for 2 hours. When you get caught in the rabbit hole, it’s terrible for procrastination. Not only do you end up looking at your phone for ages, but since you stayed laid in your bed you remain sleepy and tired.
So if you want a good final exam grade, wake up energetically, and plan a hardworking day, like this, you will be efficient with your time, and you’ll manage to finish some work.
