Colleen Hoover is a well-known American author. She is one of the best-selling authors in the world and is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of twenty-two books. Her books consist of action, drama, thriller, and many more. Some of her stories are based on real-life events which make her books even better. These are Colleen Hoover’s top 5 best-selling books:

#1: It Ends With Us

This book was based on a true story. This is a story about a girl named Lily who grew up in an abusive family. Watching her mom constantly getting abused and sometimes Lily herself. Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She meets a guy named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true. She still had thoughts about Atlas Corrigan, her first love. When Atlas suddenly reappears, Ryle feels threatened. All trust between Lily and Ryle is broken. Colleen Hoover wrote a heartbreaking book, and people fell in love with it. There is a sequel to this book called, “It Starts With Us,” coming out in October 2022. 

#2: November 9

Fallon meets Ben, an ambitious writer, the day before she was supposed to travel halfway across the country. Having so much fun together leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together. Their fun sparked the inspiration Ben was looking for. Fallon was still adamant about moving but that didn’t break their friendship. They decided to meet in the restaurant they met at every November 9. That is until Fallon starts to feel unsure about Ben and wonders if he was telling Fallon the whole truth. This book leaves readers on edge through most of the book trying to figure out what will happen next.

#3: Maybe Someday

Sydney is living in a perfect world. She lives with her best friend and has an amazing boyfriend and the music comes from the balcony opposite hers. Little did she know her boyfriend wasn’t as perfect as she thought. When she finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her, her perfect world bursts. The mysterious man behind the music, Ridge, gives Sydney hope that she can move on from her ex. But moving on is harder than she expects, Sydney can only hope it all works out for her. 

#4: Reminders of Him

After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, in hopes of reuniting with her four-year-old daughter. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself. The only person who hasn’t completely shut her out is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna’s daughter. However, if anyone found out how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna’s life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them. They start to form a connection despite the negativity surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna has to find a way to resolve the mistakes of her past to try to build a better future.

#5: Verity

Lowen arrives at the Crawford home. Ready to go through all of Verity’s notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen wasn’t ready for was to uncover her chaotic office and an unfinished autobiography Verity never wanted anyone to read. Each page creates chills in both Lowens and the readers. This book is a different genre than what Colleen Hoover usually does which makes it that much more interesting. This book leaves many readers wondering what to believe. 

Colleen Hoover is a very talented author. She has created over 20 books and all of them continue to get better and better. This is an author that many people would recommend to their friends who are interested in reading, or who want to start reading!
