UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Dies On Friday

President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, one of the world’s wealthiest monarchs, has died at the age of 73.
The announcement was released by the state news agency Wam on Friday afternoon.
According to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, there will be 40 days of formal mourning with flags at half-staff and three days of federal, state, and municipal government ministries and official organizations, as well as the private sector, closing.
On Saturday, the formal mourning period will begin, with normal business hours resumed on Tuesday.
The funeral will take place on Friday after the maghrib prayer, with funeral prayers being held in all mosques across the UAE.
