Six People Killed After Car Runs Into Carnival Revelers in Belgium

Police reported a car drove into Carnival revelers in a town in southern Belgium early Sunday, killing 6 people and leaving 10 more with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities claimed there were no signs of a criminal motive in the early phases of their inquiry.

Around 5 a.m, more than 150 people of various ages had assembled in a thick crowd on the road. Suddenly, a fast-moving automobile appeared from behind.

When their car came to a halt a few hundred meters farther on, the driver and a second person were arrested.
