Innocent mother of five, 36, dies from a gunshot wound as Irish police believe she was shot accidentally

Police fear a mother of five Sandra Boyd died after she was shot outside her Dublin home last night may have been “accidentally” caught up in gunfire at around 8:40 pm on the 20 of march.
Paramedics found her lying at the back of her house and transported her to Mater Hospital, where she sadly died as doctors tried in vain to save her.
Ms. Boyd’s devastated relatives have today poured out tributes in her memory, The Sun reports. Describing her as his ‘world’, Ms. Boyd’s partner Darren Noonan said he was ‘heartbroken’ and added ‘I will love you forever.
No arrests have been made. A gun was found and has been sent for ballistic testing. The police stated, “’We’ve had a number of incidents in the Finglas community over the last few months, so we’d be calling for extra Garda resources to deal with the problem.”
