Europe battles their need for gas

There are now fears that Russia will shut off natural gas resources to the European Union in retaliation for Europe’s backing for Ukraine. Europe, among other friends, has been providing weapons and aid to Ukraine to assist it in defending itself against Russia’s invasion.

Russia has so far allowed the gas to flow despite the fact that it has just been over a week. However, this raises another issue.

Russia’s oil and gas exports are bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars every day, undermining the financial restrictions imposed by Western nations to stifle funding for Putin’s war campaign.
