Teenage girl injured in desert motorcycle accident airlifted to hospital

After being injured in a motorbike accident in Sharjah’s Al Hamriya neighborhood, a 19-year-old Omani girl was airlifted from the desert to a hospital on Tuesday evening.

The medical evacuation effort was carried out by the National Search and Rescue Center (NSRC) in collaboration with Sharjah Police to save the badly injured girl.

After receiving a report from the Sharjah Police Operations Room regarding an accident in the desert area of Al Hamriya that resulted in the girl being gravely hurt, a top official at NSRC stated they promptly despatched a rescue team.
