DAA News: Masks No Longer Required When Outdoors

This morning, DAA High School students received an email from the Dean of Students, Mrs. Oswald, stating that masks no longer need to be worn when in outdoor areas of school.
It is required that students maintain a social distance of one meter, and continue to be respectful of all teacher’s requests regarding Covid-19 precautions.
This rule was made per DHA (Dubai Health Authority) regulations.
It came as a relief to many in the school, with the email stating that the “last few emails have been a lot of information and changes that might not be happy for all of you, but this one is good!”
This is a significant development, with masks being required everywhere in Dubai since early 2020.
Masks still must be worn in all indoor sections of campus, including classrooms and hallways.
“Thank you all for continuing to do your part to keep us safe and healthy,” – Mrs. Oswald.
