Two killed, 11 injured in an accident on Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road

A bus crashed with another vehicle in the Ramah section of Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road, killing two persons and injuring 11 others.

According to the Abu Dhabi Police Department, all of the casualties were Asian nationals.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the collision was caused by speeding, rapid lane changes, inattentiveness, and tailgating, according to Lt-Col Saif Naif Al Ameri, deputy head of the Traffic Department in Al Ain.

After being alerted of the accident, police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defense patrols, as well as ambulances, went to the site and transported all of the injured to Tawam Hospital and Sheik Shakhbout Medical City.
