After a rise in Omicron infections, a number of nations are adjusting their travel rules. Several states have dropped the pre-departure PCR test for entering travelers, indicating a major shift in policy.
Lowering limitations for fully vaccinated travelers is considered a positive step toward increasing international travel.
Bahrain and the United Kingdom have stated that pre-departure COVID-19 testing for vaccinated travelers will no longer be required.
They aren’t the only ones that think this way. Sweden, Greece, Portugal, and the majority of Scandinavian nations did as well. Others have stated that travel restrictions would be lifted later on.
