Woman Suffers Major Brain Injury After Being Hit by Minibus in Dubai

It was reported on Friday morning, a Filipino lady who was walking her dog got hit by a minibus on Palm Jumeirah.

Hospital director of Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, David Jelley, told Khaleej Times, “The patient presented to Mediclinic Parkview hospital after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on the Palm Jumeirah.”

She was rushed to a nearby hospital and has been confirmed she suffered from multiple traumatic injuries as well as a ‘catastrophic brain injury’.

“She presented with multiple traumatic injuries and sustained a catastrophic brain injury. She was immediately resuscitated by our trauma team, had emergency surgery, and is currently being cared for in our ICU,” adds Jelley.
