The U.S will work with UAE to thwart drone attacks
By Angelina Mokbel
The US will collaborate with the UAE and its regional partners to find measures to thwart drone attacks even before they take place.
The agreement comes after a series of drone and missile assaults on the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, most of which were claimed by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels. THAAD and Patriot PAC-3 missile defense systems are deployed in the UAE, which is among the most expensive and advanced in the world. It is regarded as one of the most stable countries in the Middle East.
Drones, on the other hand, which are often undetectable by radar, are a newer and, in certain situations, more dangerous threat.
