Israel warns of crisis with UAE over Dubai aviation security

Israel extends on Tuesday a deadline that might have halted its airlines’ flights to the UAE over air security disputes. 

The current arrangements had been due to expire this Tuesday, but Israeli officials said the Transport Minister had extended the deadline by around a month to negotiate over security disputes

The Shin Bet has suggested that Abu Dhabi could be used as an alternative over Dubai for Israeli carriers. Later on this was ruled out by an Israeli Official saying that Abu Dhabi attracted far less traffic.
