Historic vault in Dresden robbed

The glass case at Dresden’s historic Green Vault was broken by at least nine powerful blows from an arrow. The two hooded burglars snatched 20 priceless jewel antiques and escaped after the glass cracked.

It was November 25, 2019, and some of the world’s most costly historic diamonds had vanished in a matter of minutes.

On Friday, January 28, a trial with the six men accused of carrying out one of the largest jewel heists in history began in Germany. However, the mystery of what happened to the artifacts they are accused of stealing remains unsolved.
