Lessons were taking place in a secondary school in Vasteras, Sweden when two masked men entered the school with knives.
Originally, the men took all of the students’ computers, but were forced to return some after being chased by teachers.
No students or staff were injured. Police didn’t offer full details, but said they were called to the scene after receiving calls of “multiple perpetrators” forcing people to hand over their computers.
The schools’ principal, Henrik Pettersson, says that students are shocked and traumatized from this event, and have not been feeling well. “This kind of thing should not happen in a school, it’s awful,” says Pettersson.
Students and teachers that were directly affected by the robbers are receiving support.
