Woman Killed by her Stalker Ex

Yasmin Chkaifi, 43, was stabbed to death by ex-boyfriend Leon McCaskie, 41, in West London last Monday.

During the attack though, McCaskie was run over and killed as well. The driver of the car, whose identity has not been released to the public, was released without charge by police on Tuesday.

Chkaifi’s family have described her death as entirely preventable, as a case against McCaskie was filed months ago but not addressed.

The Met Police had previously confirmed the stalking order that had been obtained against McCaskie stating that he should be held without bail. They have stated that they are currently unable to provide any further information.
