NASA plans to crash the International Space Station in 2031

The ISS, launched in 2000 has been the flagship space station for the entire world, hosting over 200 astronauts from 19 different countries.
NASA will “deorbit” the platform into a remote location within the Pacific dubbed “Point Nemo” in January of 2031, in plans for it to be replaced by other commercial space platforms which will be research hubs in the future.
