Police have arrested a leading casino boss in the middle of a crackdown in the world’s biggest gambling hub in Macau.
Authorities said they had arrested two men over supposed money laundering and illegal gambling, on Sunday. Gambling is illegal in mainland China, but it is allowed in Macau.
In November, the chairman of Macau’s biggest junket operator Suncity, Alvin Chau, was arrested as authorities cracked down on supposed money laundering and cross-border gambling.
