Netherlands is to ease Covid 19 restrictions

Since December 18 all pubs, restaurants, museums, shops have all been shut down due to Omicron. Covid cases being reported per day is 60,000 which is a new record.
The Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte told a news conference that ‘the country is taking a risk’ at easing restrictions. Mark Rutte said that the new regulations will be effective until March 8.
Cafe and bars will be open until 10 pm but to enter you must show a negative covid 19 result, proof that they are vaccinated, or have recently recovered from Covid.
The government decided to make this decision because about 90% of the Netherlands is vaccinated.
