Elon Musk and his space exploration company launched a rocket into space in 2015. However, it did not have enough fuel to come back down to Earth, so it stayed in space.
Astronomer Jonathan McDowell says it will be the first uncontrolled rocket collision with the moon. McDowell says the effects will be minimal however.
Falcon 9 was sent into space on a mission to send a space weather satellite on a million-mile journey.
The collision is due to happen on March 4th.
