UAE’s National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority had announced on Wednesday that the UAE will lift the restriction on entry for the passengers that will be arriving from 12 countries. They also updated entry procedures for three different countries on January 29, 2022.
The UAE had posted a tweet talking about resuming all inbound flights for international, as well as, national passengers from Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Congo, South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
On the other hand the countries that the UAE had updated arrival procedures for are Uganda, Ghana, and Rwanda.
Passengers that arrive from one of those countries listed need to present a negative COVID-19 test that was taken 48 hours before the flight, and a Rapid-PCR test at the airport before departure, as well as a PCR test upon arrival.
