Grammy Awards move to Las Vegas, and are postponed till April

On January 18, 2022, it was announced that the Grammy Awards have a new time and location. 

CBS, as well as, the Recording Academy had announced that the music event would take place in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, which is a week after the Academy Awards. The Grammy Awards were meant to happen later this month in Los Angeles, however, it was postponed due to the pandemic. 

Harvey Mason Jr. who is the CEO of the Recording Academy had said, “We are excited to take the Grammys to Las Vegas for the first time, and to put on a world-class show.”

The CMT Music Award, which is a show where fans vote for their favorite country music artists, was meant to take place on April 3, however, it will be moved to a later date.
