Heavy rains in Oman claim 6 lives

According to local media, at least six people have died as a result of two days of severe rainfall that hammered major parts of Oman. Most sections of Oman have been struck by heavy rain as a result of low pressure, resulting in flooding in several local government areas.

“The low pressure is expected to last till January 5, according to Oman Meteorology.”
