Why Lady Gaga Didn’t want to meet her “House of Gucci” character

The upcoming “House of Gucci” film starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver will be released on December 2, 2021 (United Arab Emirates). 

Gaga plays the role of “Lady Gucci” also known as the infamous Patrizia Reggiani or Patrizia Gucci, however, the pop singer and actress stated how she had no interest in meeting with Reggiani. Gucci was “rather annoyed” that Gaga had chosen not to meet with her. 

Lady Gaga then responded to this and told British Vogue: 

“I only felt that I could truly do this story justice if I approached it with the eye of a curious woman who was interested in possessing a journalistic spirit so that I could read between the lines of what was happening in the film’s scenes, meaning that nobody was going to tell me who Patrizia Gucci was. Not even Patrizia Gucci.”
