Australian police have arrested a man over the disappearance of two campers from a national park 20 months ago.
74-year-old Russel Hill and 73-year-old Carol Clay were last heard from on the 20 of March last year when they called a friend from their campsite in Victoria.
Even though the stakes of the largest missing person investigation, there hasn’t been a trace of the hikers since.
On Tuesday, Victoria Police said they had arrested a 55-year-old man from Melbourne in connection with the case. He has been questioned by police but no charges have been made yet.
