Multiple Injured After Gun Discharged At Atlanta Airport

At least three people were injured at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after a passenger’s gun was discharged Saturday afternoon, according to the Transportation Security Administration
Atlanta police said a gun was discharged near the airport’s main security checkpoint. Passengers were ordered to evacuate the airport, with all departing flights temporarily stopped.
Later that day, airport officials reported that there was no active shooter threat and that the airport passengers and employees were safe to come back into the Airport.
Authorities identified the passenger whose gun went off as 42-year-old Kenny Wells, issuing warrants for his arrest, ran away from the Airport.
Atlanta Police are currently searching for Wells.
