Manchester United board decide to sack Solskjær at emergency meeting

At an emergency meeting on Saturday night, Manchester United’s board voted to fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Joel Glazer, the co-chairman who oversees the American family’s ownership, agreed to rubber-stamp the decision.
Following the team’s humiliating 4-1 defeat against Watford, a lengthy meeting was held. The objective is for an announcement to avoid using the word “sacked” and instead refer to a mutual accord. Following the conclusion of the board’s meetings, compensation and other final details were being addressed.
After a fourth defeat in five Premier League games, Solskjr confessed that his squad had been “outfought” by Watford and had let the supporters down, but he claimed that he was capable of turning their fortunes around. However, the board disagreed and decided to make a modification.
