Kyle Rittenhouse: Calls for calm after US teen cleared of murder
By Lauren Chalouhi
There have been many calls for calm in the US after a teenager who shot two people during racial unrest last year was now cleared of all charges.
18-year-old, Kyle Rittenhouse, argued that he was acting in self-defense when he shot the two men and injured a third in Wisconsin.
The verdict on Friday, which then followed a high-profile trial that divided the US, created protests in some cities.
Politicians, including President Joe Biden, and families of the victims urged a restraint.
