The only survivor of a plane crash in Michigan that killed four people is an 11-year-old girl.

According to officials, an 11-year-old girl was the sole survivor of a plane crash in Michigan on Saturday that killed four people.
The victims were on board a twin-engine light commuter plane when it crashed near Beaver Island, near the northern end of Lake Michigan, about 40 miles northwest of Charlevoix, according to Charlevoix County Sheriff Lieutenant William Church.
The Britten-Norman BN2P jet crashed around 2:30 p.m. ET, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
According to a tweet from USCG Great Lakes, the USCG was performing a training flight in the vicinity when they received an Emergency Locator Transmitter alert pinging them to the incident.
