Netflix games launched for its subscribers

Netflix will start to roll new games into its subscription. Starting at five new games for its subscribers: Card Blast, Stranger Things: 1934, Teeter Up, Shooting Hoops, and Stranger Things 3: The Game. Netflix stated, “While this is just the beginning of a long journey, we’re excited to provide a gaming experience that is differentiated from what is available today – exclusive mobile games with no ads, no in-app payments, included with your Netflix membership”. For now, the games are being implemented to Android devices. However, Netflix stated that they would be launching on Apple devices, “in the coming months”.

Netflix hopes to become invested in the game industry in the future and compete with other major game-focused companies such as Playstation, Microsoft, and Nintendo.
