Emirates Airlines’ First Chief Pilot Passes Away

Pakistani Pilot Captain Fazle Ghani, who was the first chief pilot and project director for Emirates Airlines’ has died from prolonged illness.

Ghani was directed to set up Dubai’s premier airline Emirates from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

After establishing the first few flights of Emirates, Ghani returned back to PIA.

Air Marshal Arshad Malik, chief executive officer of PIA, announced on Twitter the sad news of Ghani’s death.

“Pride of Pakistan, Aviation Capt. Fazle Ghani passed away after a prolonged illness,” Malik said.
