Car Bomb Kills Nine At Yemen Airport

A car bomb exploded at the Yemen airport killing nine and injuring 12 on Saturday. The Prime Minister of Yemen Mueen Abdulmalek Saeed labeled the bombing a “terrorist attack” which was actually a planned attack on a former governor who was arriving at the airport.

Besides the nine dead, the 12 injured included women and children according to eyewitnesses, and is the deadliest attack at the airport since December of last year, which killed 22 people.
