By: Ryan Oswald, Staff Reporter, The Pawprint
“If we don’t act now, it’ll be too late.” David Attenborough warns the population ahead of the COP26 climate summit.
The broadcaster says the richest nations have “a moral responsibility” to help the world’s poorest.
Attenborough’s call for an urgent response is responsible for the latest scientific assessment to avoid the worst impacts of rising temperatures.
As of right now, emissions are predicted to continue to rise instead of starting to fall.
He calls for the help and responsibility of wealthier countries as he feels they are the most responsible for the rise of emissions.
At the age of 95, Attenborough continues to film documentaries, addressing the G7 summit, the UN Security Council, and receiving the Duke of Duke of Cambridge’s Earthshot Prize.
