First Film Shot In Space, Is Made In Russia

The film is titled ‘Challenge’, and is a co-production of the Russian space agency Roscosmos with the Russian channel One and the Yellow, Black and White studio.

At the end of the filming of the first film in orbit, the crew returned to Earth in the Soyuz shuttle, which landed in the steppe of Kazakhstan. He is all Russian, which immediately led to talk of a new primacy of Russia, which compared to the United States, now also has to its credit the first film shot in orbit, after the first satellite in orbit, the first man, and the first woman in space, the first space station and the first dog in space.

Actress Peresild plays the role of a surgeon who reaches the space station to perform urgent surgery on a crewman, played by Novitskiy. Cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anton Shkaplerov, who arrived on board last October 5, with the actress and director also starred in the film.
