Alec Baldwin Accidentally Shoots and Takes Life of Crew Member on Set

Last Thursday, the famed actor fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza by a supposed prop gun that was unfortunately loaded and live. According to officials Baldwin was under the knowledge of the weapon being cold. This all happened on set of the upcoming movie “Rust” which was being directed by Baldwin and Souza. 

Baldwin later sent his statement on social media, including sending his condolences to Hutchin’s family, stating on Twitter, “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours”. He later informed the internet that he is fully cooperating with authorities in the investigation.
