Palmdale Man Is Killed,Three Others Are Wounded In Lancaster Restaurant Shooting

On Monday about 12:10 am a shooting was reported in a Lancaster Restaurant on Sierra Highway involving a security guard, age 44, that left the guard and two other people wounded, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. On wednesday Authorities identified the man who got killed.

Joseph Quirola, age 51, of Pamela died at the scene. The Special Enforcement Bureau(SEB) units entered and found Quirola suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body, and a 43 year old woman with a gunshot wound “to a lower extremity”, according to LSD. The woman and the male restaurant employee were treated at a hospital for wounds described as not life threatening. The security guard was hospitalized in serious condition.
