Kyrie Irving Denied Contract Extension After Refusing To Be Vaccinated

Earlier today, the Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving was denied his 186 million dollar contract extension after his decision to not be vaccinated which is a Brooklyn Nets policy.

Until Kyrie is vaccinated he “will not play or practice with the team until he is eligible to be a full participant.” The player will still be paid for road games he will miss due to other state-laws and he will be able to partake in games that allow unvaccinated players.
