Yesterday, husband and wife, Jonathan and Diana Toebbe were found guilty of selling data of nuclear submarine designs in Maryland.
The 45 and 42-year-old couple have now been charged under the Atomic Energy Act, which is a crime due to sharing classified information.
The couple were seen as normal people, living life like typical US partners.
Jerry LaFleur was one of the past acquaintances of Johnathan. “He wasn’t talkative. Just a friendly, normal guy,” said LaFleur.
Today, the federal court is expecting the couple to appear and explain themselves to the prosecutors.
