200 Chinese Troops Stopped At Arunachal Border In Latest Face-Off With Indian Army

Last week, Indian and Chinese troops clashed again along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh, with about 200 Chinese soldiers being stopped.
According to sources, the two sides’ contact lasted a few hours and was handled according to protocol. During the combat, little damage was done to the Indian defenses.
Arindam Bagchi, a spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, said India has repeated that China’s “provocative” behavior and “unilateral” steps have disrupted the country’s peace and tranquility.
“It is our expectation that China will work towards early resolution of the remaining issues along the line of actual control in eastern Ladakh while fully abiding by bilateral agreements and protocols,” Bagchi said at a press conference.
