Facebook and Instagram and Whatsapp Went Down

On Monday, Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp stopped working for several hours for users worldwide.
It was as if “someone pulled the cables from their data centers all at once and disconnected them from the internet”, said web infrastructure firm Cloudflare.
The failure of such key internet platforms had an effect on users globally. 10.6 million reports were made, the largest number ever recorded.
For many, losing access to Facebook’s servers was an inconvenience, but for some small businesses it had a major impact on their livelihood. This is because many rely on these platforms to advertise and sell their products
