UAE Tops Global Ranks for Vaccinations

The UAE ranks first globally as the highest percentage of people who have taken at least one dose of the Covid-19 per Khaleej Times.

Dr. Fadira Al Hosani, spokesperson for UAE’s Health Sector said that 91 percent of the population have taken at least one dose of the Covid-19 Vaccine, with 80% of the country receiving both doses.

On Top of this impressive feat, the UAE is third globally in the number of Covid-19 tests performed.

With the UAE preparing to open its doors for Expo 2020, releasing to the public next week after major delays, efforts to get everyone vaccinated are a big priority for the country.
